European Electronique is pleased to announce that the company, for the second time running, succeeded with their bid to be included on the Buying Solutions’ “Commoditised IT Hardware and Software” Framework. There are only 9 suppliers that are approved on both lots, Lot 1 – Desktop Hardware and Lot 2 – IT Infrastructure and European Electronique is one of them.
Buying Solutions is the national procurement framework for the UK Public Sector. The aim of the framework is to ensure value for money and simplify the procurement process making it quicker and easier for customers to procure the goods and services they need.

the boards at the prestigious Oxfordshire
Business Awards.

Announcing European
Electronique’s third win of the night,
presenter, Chairman of the Oxfordshire Business
Awards, Paul Lowe, paused dramatically and then
said, ‘You are not going to believe this’,
before declaring European Electronique winner of
Business of the Year. The hat trick of awards is
unprecedented in the ceremony’s 15 year history.
The company was
short-listed for Oxfordshire Large Business,
sponsored by RBS and MD, Yolanta Gill, for the
Bottle PR, Oxfordshire Business Entrepreneur of
the Year. The judges were looking for evidence
of business growth, a commitment to the local
community including local job creation and that
the business has actively taken steps to exceed
customer expectations.
The Entrepreneur of
the Year award recognises Yolanta Gill’s
leadership in guiding the company through a
period of considerable growth and how under her
directorship the business has significantly
improved its performance.
Afterwards, Yolanta
declared, ‘This will have a fantastic impact on
our business and is a wonderful marketing
opportunity. It is just unbelievable to be the
first winner of three awards in the 15 years of
the competition. It is a credit to our staff who
are hardworking and dynamic and always go that
extra mile with their can do attitude.’

(previously DfES) Specialist Schools and Academy programme.
