Our BETT 2026 Round-Up
BETT 2026 was an amazing event, and one that we thoroughly enjoyed. Throughout the week, we connected with an incredible range of educators, IT leaders and partners, all joined by a shared goal: to enable schools to use technology with confidence.
We noticed a recurring theme throughout our conversations was simple but powerful, technology should just work. For teachers, confidence in the classroom is built on trust. Trust that devices will connect, lessons won’t be interrupted, and systems will perform as expected. That confidence doesn’t come from tools alone; it’s rooted in reliable, well-maintained infrastructure which works quietly in the background.
The Hidden Cost of Ageing Infrastructure
BETT helped reinforce something we see every day in schools. Ageing infrastructure creates unnecessary friction for teaching and learning. Slow connections, unreliable Wi-Fi or security concerns pull focus away from what really matters: the students and their learning outcomes.
Turning Conversations into Connections
Our stand was busy throughout the event, everybody was coming over to try our “Crack the Code” activity, which proved to be a real hit. It sparked great conversations and gave visitors a fun, hands-on way to engage.
Technology That Enables, Protects and Inspires:
At BETT 2026, we spent time talking through the practical solutions that help schools operate more smoothly day to day. From the classroom right through to the network that supports it.
We discussed how platforms such as HPE Aruba Networking Central help schools maintain secure, high-performance networks through centralised visibility and smarter insights, making it easier for IT teams to spot issues early and keep things running reliably across the school estate.
With cyber security continuing to be a growing concern in education, conversations also focused on the role of services like Sophos Managed Detection and Response (MDR), which support schools in identifying and responding to increasingly sophisticated human-led attacks before they can cause disruption or put sensitive data at risk.
In the classroom, Promethean remains a familiar and trusted presence, enabling teachers to create engaging, collaborative lessons using technology that feels intuitive and easy to use, rather than another layer of complexity.
We also highlighted the HP Bright Futures program, which helps schools access devices and solutions designed specifically for education. Which helps support both teachers and learners with reliable, sustainable tools built for the long term.
